Coins, farming and long-term goals
Coins come from match rewards, the lobby Rewards Claim chest, the AFK Area, timed event windows and the x2 COINS! pass at 99 R$. Clear the longest mode you can finish, claim the chest after every run, leave Auto Skip on once the lane holds, and let the AFK Area pay while you are away.
Coins are the one currency that matters in Alliance Tower Defense, and the Roblox description names both ends of the pipe:
This page is about squeezing more Coins per hour out of the same game.

Every Coin source the game advertises
| Source | How it works | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Match rewards | Coins accrue as waves clear; longer modes pay more per run | Time |
| Rewards Claim chest | The lobby chest that hands out what finished runs earned | A free click after each run |
| AFK Area | A lobby room you can idle in for passive Coins | Idle time |
| Timed events | Lobby banners count down to events like a Piñata arrival | Time in the window |
| x2 COINS! gamepass | Doubles Coin earn | 99 R$ |

What each map pays for
The match-setting screen prints a value on every map card, and it scales with the mode the map is locked to:
| Map | Mode | Waves | Card value |
|---|---|---|---|
| City | Easy | 20 | 100 |
| Canyon Bridge | Medium | 30 | 275 |
| Wild Desert | Hard | 40 | 500 |
| Camera Lab | Insane | 50 | 850 |
That is the argument for moving up the ladder: the card value roughly doubles each rung while the wave count grows by ten, so the same defense is worth far more in a longer mode. Wave payouts inside a match stack on top, climbing from a couple of hundred Coins early to thousands once a match runs long.
The farming order that costs nothing
- Clear the longest mode you can finish, not the shortest you can repeat. Medium is 30 waves and Insane is 50; the same defense earns more per sitting in the longer mode.
- Leave Auto Skip on once the lane holds. Fewer waves watched means more waves banked per hour.
- Claim the chest every time you return to the lobby. Unclaimed rewards are Coins you have already earned and simply have not taken.
- Park in the AFK Area when you log off. Idle time is the only source that does not compete with your attention.
- Watch the countdown banners. Event windows are where the same play pays extra.
When to spend Robux on Coins
The cheapest on-sale gamepass is x2 COINS! at 99 R$. It is also the one that compounds hardest, because every other Coin source on the list above feeds through it: match rewards, the chest, the AFK Area and event windows all get doubled.
Compare that with the other three on-sale passes: x2 LUCK! at 199 R$ improves the quality of the summons you already pay for, x2 Game Speed at 149 R$ compresses the same amount of play into less time, and VIP PASS at 299 R$ is the bundle. If the goal is more pulls per week rather than better pulls, the Coins pass is the one that moves first.
| What you want | Pass | Price |
|---|---|---|
| More Coins per run | x2 COINS! | 99 R$ |
| More waves per hour | x2 Game Speed | 149 R$ |
| Better summon rolls | x2 LUCK! | 199 R$ |
| All of it | VIP PASS | 299 R$ |
Full pricing, dates and what each pass has changed over time is on the gamepasses page.
Long-term goals worth aiming at
The game states its own finish line: become top one on the leaderboard. Between you and that there is a ladder of five mode badges, and the ladder is a better pacing device than a Coin target because the game publishes how many players are on each rung.
- Working on the Easy badge? Treat each run as an economy run and claim the chest every time.
- Working on the Medium badge? Treat every Easy run as an economy run and every Medium run as a test.
- Heading for Insane or CRAZY? At 50–60 waves a run, Coins stop being the bottleneck — team depth does.
What not to do with Coins
- Don't summon between every match. Pulls are rolls, and Coins spent on three rolls beat neither one good roll nor one good upgrade decision.
- Don't ignore the chest. It is the only source that requires no play at all.
- Don't buy speed before Coins unless your bottleneck is sitting time, not earning rate.
